Who I am.
Hello, I’m Amran, I solve problems for people in meaningful ways.
I grew up in the Bengali community in Yorkshire. It taught me the importance of empathy and diversity. We help each other with everyday challenges, bringing people together.
I have over 10 years experience designing for physical spaces as an industrial designer and more recently bringing digital products to life. Going from initial concept to final product.
What I do.
User Experience.
Focused on business and user needs. I help with UX Research, UX Strategy, User work: through workshops and facilitation. Wireframing, and prototyping, working with a network of collaborators to execute high fidelity designs.
Industrial Design.
Focused on design for manufacture. I help with concept strategy, brief writing, 3D CAD, detailing and draughting including shop floor ready drawings.
Project Management.
Focused on delivering projects. I help with planning: feasibility, budgeting. Detailing and submission. Execution and delivery working with logistics and timing.
Where I’m going.
The world has become more digital in nature. Solutions also need to sit both in the physical and digital world: phygital if you will.
I embrace this world and offer my experience to ensure design leverages digital innovation.
